EFFECTIVE - 15 JUN 26THE HOARD
THE SHORT VERSION
Gideon is The Hoard's identification tool. Point your camera at a piece, review the match confidence, confirm the record, and add it to your Vault. Built for collectors, not for guesswork.
What Gideon does
Point your camera at a card, a watch, a sneaker, a coin, a comic, anything you collect. Gideon matches it against the registry, fills in the metadata it can confirm, and adds it to your private Vault in one tap. A manual path always works, so nothing is ever stuck behind the camera.
Gideon Confidence Report
A Gideon result should show the primary match, alternate candidates, confidence, variant uncertainty, known risk flags, comps used, thin-data warnings, and a manual correction path. The collector sees the record quality instead of a black box.
Feature matching, not generative guessing
Gideon identifies pieces by matching observable features against the registry. It does not invent an answer the way a generative model would. In a field crowded with AI slop, that distinction is the point: a Gideon result is grounded, not hallucinated.
Identification, not authentication
A Gideon match is a strong identification. It is not a certificate of authenticity. The Hoard never claims a piece is authentic, real, genuine, or certified.
The record-quality ladder
·Draft - a photo and a name
·Basic - the core fields filled
·Documented - notes, condition, and source
·Export-Ready - clean enough to leave with
·Brand-Verified - confirmed through a brand's own review
Private by default
Everything Gideon adds lands in your private Vault. Values, serials, and receipts stay hidden unless you choose to share them.

Partner-dependent rails stay locked until the partner is formally signed. Professional authentication claims, brand certification, grading sync, official catalogs, marketplace listing rails, and fulfillment paths only appear when that specific partner or permission exists.
